A series of bold posters I designed to be displayed around the office of a previous employer, promoting their core company values.
sub-10 events brochure
A really enjoyable project, designing a slick, A5 brochure to be shared at conferences and events as part of eLearning company sub-10’s marketing strategy.
The high-contrast design grabs attention, and the bold typographic pages break up some quite dense informational copy. I relished the challenge of balancing varied amounts of content across a standard layout, while still making the brochure feel inviting.

Developed in-house at education publisher GCSEPod, now part of Access Group.
Our visual content was designed to pull out key phrases or instructions for students as they listened to accompanying audio narration.
content style guides
Examples of layout specifications and design style guides I produced when employed by GCSEPod.
Although designs were initially very freeform, we eventually moved over to a grid system to standardise our output.
I’m proud to have pushed for more accessibility accommodations, and among other changes, we used the grid to build subtitle space right into the content design.

PDF design and layout done in-house for sub-10 as part of their learning materials. The concept is drawn directly from a 1940s wartime poster, but involves a lot more copy!
razzberry bazaar A-board advertising
Commission: a poster series for Tynemouth shop Razzberry Bazaar, designed to spotlight their different types of merchandise. The design prompt was to be bold, quirky, but modern.
REJIG
Various print media commissions over time for community arts group REJIG. Work has included newsletters, backing cards, posters, postcards, flyers and banners.

Commission: poster design to advertise a seminar event at the Oxford History faculty.
